Re: Unsupported photometric type IES file: 2
maybe http://photometricviewer.com/ IESViewer helps with finding the origin of the problem (?), you can also export to .ldt and then .ldt back to .ies, maybe it helps same here, maybe IES to Eulumdat and back: https://ies2eulumdat.appspot.com/ maybe there is room for improvements in LuxCore, don't ...

Re: Two clear volumes in face contact
As I said in my previous post strange artifacts happens if two surfaces overlap. A tiny gap of 0.1mm resolve the issue. It is just 32bit floating point (lack of) precision as I have already explained lighting_freak multiple times in the past. You can not have overlapping surfaces, you have to use a...

Re: Which material is more accurate?
HoppyHopp, even though the differences are obvious, I put your pictures together as gif-Animation to better evaluate the differences in detail (maybe 500ms viewtime is a nuance to less, but still ok) As we intuitively try to compare to real life experiences, 1st one might be something plastic or por...

Re: LuxCore AOV outputs are strange When using few spp(1spp)
Add a cube object and use glossy translucent material node, set "Opacity" to 0.500, then rendering with 2 SPP. I got the the following pitcures. But if you set opacity to 0.5, it will hit a face of the cube only 50% of the times so this result is normal (or am I missing something ?). This...

Re: Volume sampling
Just a first pic and maybe more details will get done but I would spend the black-yellow-column right-side in the back a bit more wear-and-tear, a to clean and new appearance in garage-surroundings is sort of boring and unnatural, deflects attention - the most shiny thing will be that monster machine.

Re: octane renderes vectron and spectron
like this: http://www.cgchannel.com/2018/08/otoy-unveils-vectron-and-spectron-in-octanerender-2018-1/ ..but it just struck me as funny that they are tossing out a fancy name for something so simple. isn't that nowadays way of marketing anything, give something whatever it is, old,new,simple,.. a fan...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha3 released
ehmmm..yesss   Byob, Dade, as you guess that did the trick :D Installed the 'ww_icl_redist_intel64_2018.3.210.msi', so 64bit only, decided to start with leaving 32bit out on first step. To be honest, I mixed a lot - Embree with Eevee  (thought offical Blender 2.79 and above is ok, s...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha3 released
I'm really excited about the further steps and development of LuxCore 2.0+, so big thanks and greetings fly out to the dev-Team *thumb up* I tried my very best to install any of the 2.1alpha-releases, so also BlendLuxCore-v2.1alpha3-win64.zip BlendLuxCore-v2.1alpha3-win64-opencl.zip but still couldn...
