I found Luxcore to react way faster when canceling renderings than Cycles does - especially when also using the CPU in Cycles.

Just compared V1.3 to the one coming with the latest beta of LuxcoreBlender and the results are very promising. V1.3 retains a lot more details and looks cleaner.

Here are two images to compare - the lower one is V1.3.

For me it worked. Just delete the 3 files - oidnDenoise.exe, OpenImageDenoise.dll and tbb.dll. Copy the new ones into the directory. The file "tbb12.dll" has a different name now though.

Works like a charm. Together with the Triplanar Mapping node this beats Cycles in usability. Awesome - Thanks again.

What's the proper way to download this version of the addon? Will Luxcore V2.5 Beta1 be sufficient for this feature?

EDIT: Nevermind. I think I figured it out. Going to Coce->Download ZIP should be OK, right?

Woooohooo! That's awesome. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who will appreciate this. With that checked off of the list, the bevel shader is the last position that would enable me to transfer my projects to Luxcore. But this is a huge step in that direction.

Unfortunately it seems as if development has come to a halt for some reason. Not sure why. Trello hasn't been updated for months. It would be a pity if this project would vanish.
