Re: Flickering video

Clamping was disabled.
Enabling it (and passing from 10min to 16min ) has greatly improved the quality:
Much better! (Compressed frame)

Here is the non denoised frame:

Re: Flickering video

Thank you,
I tried: it reduces the problem of the denoise on the distant parts but white spots appear that go around.

I try to double the calculation time.

Flickering video

Hi, I would like to make a small FullHd video with this file, having a reasonable rendering time. This is a first rehearsal: 0001-0049.mp4 It came discreetly but the denoise causes artifacts and flickering. Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid them? Also, I don't know if it's a bug, if I acti...

Re: PhotonGI cache + Oidn params

A note: when you enable OpenCl on a card that does not support it, Blender crashes. This is the log on my Dell with 2 graphic cards, Intel and Nvidia: I have the opencl version of LuxCore and Linux as operating system. I should not press that button ;) but I think that the error should be handled, t...

Re: PhotonGI cache + Oidn params

I'm trying the PhothonGI on the same scene with a different lightning. - I used PGI Debug: Show Indirect for er, uh... debugging :) I did but I really don't know how those spot means. Are they correct? Debug.jpg DebugFull.jpg Discovering this feature is a trial/error testing... After having a good c...

Fireflies and median filter

Hi, during work, in some renderings, fireflies appear. There is not always time to debug the scene to find out which parameters are wrong. In my studio, as a last resort, we use the median filter: we created it, in the compositor, especially for the fireflies ( in fact the values valid for the radiu...

Ahh, I made a mistake in writing!

That is my result: fixed materials, from mixed to glossy.

Re: PhotonGI cache + Oidn params

Attached you can find the purged file.

I have tried with Lookup 1cm and Brute force 90 and it is better but i always get "painting" effect on ceiling, walls and fine details.
Walls and door have got realistic thickness, should I increase them?

Thank you,
Ricky

PhotonGI cache + Oidn params

Hi! I'm trying to reproduce the wonderful images (the door ajar) at the bottom of the page: https://forums.luxcorerender.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=840&sid=e29e845956b73bbfa5971f88124b2992&start=810 but I find it difficult to calibrate the parameters well. Here is my current image and param...

Re: wrong light groups with OpenCL

Here it is the final product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8C82HYgT_Q The first shot (~10 seconds) of this video was done using luxcore and cycles: the background is luxcore, the led lights are openexr maps rendered in cycles and composited. We generated the openexr maps making renders of the si...
