Re: cannot see reflection of light spot

Of course Bidir can render SDS paths. It needs some time for it, though. SDS connections are purely random, so their probability is not very high.
Here you can see how bidir does sds. It took a week on Core i5-2400.

Config: 'LuxCoreConfig' object has no attribute 'film_opencl_enable'
what's this?
It means you messed something up when updating your BlendLuxCore. Remove it completely and re-install.
That was what I did. I dowloaded nightly build after and that worked fine.

CUDA driver API error CUDA_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED

With the latest win64 build, Blender 2.82 I get this error when press F12:
CUDA driver API error CUDA_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED (code: 3, file:D:\a\1\Luxcore\src\luxrays\core\context.cpp, line: 112): initialization error
I render with CPU; I have no GPU.

Re: Texture view in Blender viewport

it is the reason why i hope people can make the effort to be kind belong the small group of guys here that deserve everything respect included. Someone you never really know is doing a job you can't do or even dream to do. A job you can hardly pay him for. And you answer so gracefully so gratefully...

Re: Texture view in Blender viewport

is doing a job you can't do I need a proof on this statement. Do you have it? Pretty very good news i think. So you know what you have to do right now. My point didn't change you don't need that crap kind of sentence to tell your point about anything. You can tell your view and stay nice to others ...

Sometimes I wonder if you even try to write a nice answer...
In fact I think I'm being very nice here. I'm talking about what in my opinion would benefit luxcore. If I wasn't positive towards luxcore I'd just dropped it.

Re: Texture view in Blender viewport

Note, I don't think feedback has to be nice. But it has to be specific. What I'm missing here is a "Useless crap, because ..." part. That's the first part of feedback: because it's useless . If you're interested in more-than-two-words feedback, that is: Also it's called "material pre...

Tried that "LookDev". Useless crap. Someone you never really know is doing a job you can't do or even dream to do. A job you can hardly pay him for. And you answer so gracefully so gratefully. I don't even recognize you. Also even if it better to have a rasterized version BYOB isn't respo...
