Re: Env. Light Visibility Cache

BiDirVM sort of works, but the lack of MLT is very big disadvantage, the MLT part is broken. One render that i did the MLT version with BiDirVM looked better at 20 sp to the random with BiDirVM at 1000 sp. But the bias creeps in fast with MLT. In bidirvmcputhread.cpp file there is this info: // Usin...

Re: LuxCore standalone questions

I formatted my build drive and now found out the custom fonts were linked to random folder on my drive. This is fixed, it looks font from folder "fonts", same location where luxcoreui.exe is. But now it seems it's possible to replace that font, even after compile, with another font, in folder...

Re: Ubuntu Budgie

Tne nVidia driver seems bad. gpu utilisation is not high, but the fps goes up and down and screen tears. The YouTube video image quality is poor, like rough or checkered. The video is not 100% fluid smooth, even though resource usage is not high. 3 years ago the 4k 60fps video decoding was using 4% ...

Hi fox !

Do you think it is also possible to convert LUT .cube format in to CRF file ?
The lut cube values go also from 0 to 1.
 Is this really that easy to copy and paste, not sure.
The crf has 1024 values, but cube that i looked had 32768 values.
Does it matter, i think it would work.

Re: Ubuntu Budgie

I think i test the kubuntu 19.04 first, i already made the usb installer with rufus on this tiny usb drive (smaller than microsd card).
My motherboard, printer, CPU and GPU are on supported devices list, should be no problem.

Re: Analog film simulation file format

I would like to know the exact format to make my own presets, if it's not too much trouble. My method for converting any film simulation from any image editor to crf data under B = data field. B data fields have 1024 numbers going from 0 to 1. Therefor i need linear gradient image file with measure...

Re: How can I use External UI with Luxcore in Blender?

In the exporter panel find the "only write luxcore scene", there from Binary go to Text. Select folder where to export just under only write luxcore scene. Then hit render. The exporting is finished when you see text "exported to" and under that Peak Memory usage. Resuming from film does not work. Y...

When i last played with lasers, maybe in the end on 2018, the BiDir was only one, that was able to render them.

Ubuntu Budgie

Who has tested the Ubuntu Budgie, are there any issues with LuxCore or any other software in light general use?
