Would it makse sense to have photongi defined with bounding boxes in Blender. Like eevee has those separate objects for areas where you want to have gi. Yeah, I did a test with cycles also. One thing that works for sure is weights. But there is no way to use them with shaders yet :D

Yes, my bad, I just had to send dynamic paint to correct vertex color layer. But for some reason vertex color has same intensity everywhere, but in viewport it has falloff
